Hi, My name is Bryce. This is my blog. Thought I should tell you a little about who I am etc.
I'm 17 (at the moment). I live in Newbury, Berkshire, England. I go to St Bart's Sixth form college. I'm taking Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Psychology at As level, as well as Mandarin GCSE.
I have a rabbit, chickens and some stick insects, from Australia and India. I'm an explorer scout-stroke young leader and I help out at the local mencap. I like Thai kick boxing (but the club just moved away) and running. I really enjoy travelling - different cultures are fascinating and amazing. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their experiences as well.
I'm an outdoors-y kinda guy - I love walking, hiking, climbing, cycling etc. I'm pretty adventurous as well - I'll try pretty much anything once! I have my two star Kayaking badge, and I can (most of the time!) roll a kayak when I capsize! I enjoy camping, especially with friends but not necessarily - I'd say I'm pretty open and friendly, I can easily strike up a friendly conversation with someone I've not met before.
I enjoy debating - I was on the house team and we came second! I think debating should be more encouraged in school (hence why I joined the club!) because it's so inclusive - everyone has a point of view!
I'm doing this blog on the advice of:
a) my scout leader, to record a lot of my experiences with scouting
b) a lecturer at Med-Link, who recommended I record my experiences with work experience
c) myself! I've wanted to try blogging for a while - it might be fun!
